Annual Public Meeting 2018

NHS Newark and Sherwood Clinical Commissioning Group will be hosting their Annual Public Meeting on Wednesday 5  September 2018 from 4.30pm - 7.30pm at the  Everyday Champions Centre, Jessop Close, Brunel Business Park, Newark, NG24 2AG.

Our ‘market place’ will be open from 4.30pm and will provide information on a range of health and social care and voluntary and community sector services across Newark & Sherwood.

The formal business of the Annual Public Meeting will take place from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, and will include a presentation of the Annual Report and Accounts, showcasing some of our achievements to date and outline plans for the future followed by a question time panel.

As a platform to Celebrate Success, the “General Practice Awards” & the “Excellence in Engagement Awards” ceremony will conclude the event. 

NHS Newark & Sherwood CCG launched the Celebrating Success in General Practice Awards to recognise people who go the extra mile to plan or deliver exceptional health and care services within Newark & Sherwood, through their contribution to engagement, leadership, partnership and innovation or an act of kindness. The awards are open to PPG members, citizens, volunteers, community groups, Clinical Leaders, GP staff and CCG officers working within Mansfield and Ashfield.

Information that has been held previously by NHS Rushcliffe, NHS Nottingham West, NHS Nottingham City, NHS Nottingham North and East, NHS Mansfield and Ashfield, and NHS Newark and Sherwood CCGS is transferring to the new CCG NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG on 1 April 2020.
